Air cooling avoids leak hazards and extra weight of liquids. As a result, smaller or lower-power battery installations often rely on air-cooled designs.

Conclusions In this study, a parallel air-cooled system with a designed control strategy is developed for efficient cooling of battery packs under varying operating conditions.
