We have compiled historical pricing data for metals such as aluminum, silicon, copper, and silver (Table S8) and analyzed their trends.

In this study, we develop a multi-model, multi-scale assessment framework to forecast PV waste distribution and explore the resource, environmental, and economic benefits of various waste management strategies in China. Our findings show that PV waste will reach 26 million tons by 2050.
Can technology improvement reduce the environmental impact of PV wastes?
Scenarios of technology improvement, recycling scale expansion, transport distance optimization, and policy support were proposed to assess the potential to reduce the environmental impacts of PV wastes and to provide a reference for formulating technical management standards.
